AHEA Family Studies Scholarship - September 2023

To be awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement entering second, third, or fourth year of the Bsc. in Human Ecology (Family Ecology major). Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing ("All Opportunities," n.d.).

Lillias Mary Isabella Milne Memorial Scholarship - September 2023

To be awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement entering the fourth year in the BSc. in Human Ecology or BSc. in Nutrition and Food Science program. Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing and evidence of an interest in improving the quality of life of people in families (eg work of a voluntary or paid basis). Preference will be given to a student in Human Ecology or Nutrition and Food Science. Endowed through a bequest from the Estate of Lillias Mary Isabella Milne ("All Opportunities," n.d.).

Muriel Shortreed Scholarship in Family and Consumer Studies - September 2023

To be awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement entering the third or fourth year of studies in the Bachelor of Science in Human Ecology (Family Ecology major). Recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing achieved during the previous year of studies. Preference will be given to a student who has shown interest in the area of family finance. Students can receive this scholarship one time only. Endowed by Muriel Shortreed, a graduate of the Household Economics program at the University of Alberta ("All Opportunities," n.d.)

AHEA Jane Carlyle Memorial Award - September 2022

Endowed by the Alberta Human Ecology and Home Economics Association and family and friends of Jane Carlyle (BSc Home Economics 1972), in memory of Jane's contributions to the community and the profession of human ecology and home economics ("All Opportunities," n.d.).

Annunciation Catholic Women's League (C.W.L.) Scholarship - September 2019

Awarded to a Grade 12 student attending a Catholic high school; enrolled in a post-secondary institution for the fall term; an active, positive participant in the life of Annunciation Parish as verified by a priest or parish minister; enrolled in the Religion 35 Program; and is a deserving student who could use financial assistance ("St. FX Awards," n.d.).
